I can't believe the new year is upon us and in full swing already, including our plans for another baby. This attempt has already pressed the stress buttons and we've barely started. Only 1 week into the planning and I've already had a melt down moment.....
India has changed the visa requirements for entry into the country which has caused major uproar in the surrogacy community. Basically they have now made it impossible for gay and defacto couples to do surrogacy and for the married people we now have a mountain of paper work. I'm very thankful that Cam and I still meet the requirements but it's not going to be easy. I've spent the past 2 weeks trying to get answers on how to apply for our visas and I keep getting passed from one office to another and still no answers - very frustrating!
I've sent an email to Dr K letting her know we are ready to start planning our next attempt, just waiting on a reply. We are hoping to be in India at the end of April. Once I've got the ok from her the real hard work starts. I need to get our visa applications sorted and then start working on getting my body in the best possible shape. I'm hopefully going to start natural therapy and acupuncture. I've heard good things about natural therapies helping IVF and I'm willing to give anything a go.
